今年學測首日第二堂數學科於14時40分收卷，缺考率1.44%，試考生認為這次測驗整體「難度中」，計算量不大。北市高中數學科團隊表示，對於中上程度學生很有鑑別度，「中間偏難」，考高分不容易。

試考生指出，整份試券閱讀量不大，較著重基本概念，測驗考生基本概念的理解程度，無須大量計算。不過，台北市高中數學科團隊麗山高中黃靜寧老師表示，跟去年、前年相比，「今年難」，大學教授自認簡單的解法，但一般高中生能領悟的卻不多，若依學校中規中矩教法，簡單題目不算多，這份考卷對中上學生非常有鑑別度，但中段以後很難區隔，「這份考高分不容易」。

黃靜寧指出，大學教授對於高中生真實狀況有落差，整份試卷算是「中間偏難」，像是多選題第11題算是簡單，學生大概知道考什麼，可是卻要算5小題計算，會增加錯誤率，且原本預計給學生提高信心的題目，也都沒達到預期效果。

黃靜寧說，相信這次級距會縮小，原始分數會比去年低，程度好的學生不會做不好，但對中等程度學生會有很多「跳過跳過」的題目。
